Citrina Sharp does not enter so much as arrive: precise, bright, already three moves ahead. Then Mrs. Euca Lyptus glides out cool and unhurried, settles the room into her tempo, and reminds you that silence can be the loudest thing on any stage. She is the calm before Velvet Blackwood: dark, deliberate, commanding. When Desire and Pat Chouli take the stage for the closing number, they leave you standing on your feet, wondering what just happened, knowing you will never forget it.
